HQ ARRC: PROJECT CENTURION WATCH

Brigadier Mike Fayers commands 1st (UK) Signal Brigade who’s role is to deliver Command Support and Specialist Communications at readiness in to order to set the conditions for effective Command, Control and Communications capabilities at home and overseas. This includes support to the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC).

In his paper describing Project CENTURION WATCH he exposes the need to be ready for a future war that we cannot predict, and that our C3 capability is central to this challenge. The Project has a clear-sighted goal of enhancing ARRC competitiveness, thus incremental gain and capability exploitation is at the forefront of the ARRC’s thinking. It should be noted that the article has been redacted and adapted from ARRC’s Project CENTURION WATCH paper, which is held at a higher classification.
